It’s not where you take things from –
it’s where you take them to.
— Jean-Luc Godard

It is my passion and my drive in life to create new audio for stories that are engaging, magical, and profound. I want to spark curiosity, for people to say “wow, that sounded really cool, I wonder how they did that?” My ultimate goal is to enrich your story by providing creative sound design and effects through thoughtful, out-of-the-box thinking. Your characters and the adventures they embark on should have rich and driven sonic motifs that will add substantial weight and depth to any narrative.

Edit Timeline Examples

The behind-the-scenes of sound design! The following videos are linear examples of work showing how I arrange and tier my edits and track organization within the edit timeline window of my digital audio workstation (Pro Tools 12 HD)

These two videos are examples of the playback of certain stems in a final mix (Dialogue, Music, and Effects). This one is my film school final project — Anomaly 2, with only the dialogue and music stems (no sound effects)

Professional Highlights

Below is a collection of videos and links highlighting sound editorial, sound effects, dialogue, and sound design moments, all of which were completed for professional films and projects

LionHeart Animatic Pilot (2022)

In the spring of 2022, I had the delight of working on the sound design and final mix for an animatic pilot of a potential new animated series called LionHeart. An animatic is the final stage in visual post-production before the final animation is created, running at about 4 - 6 frames per second instead of the usual 24-30 in a finished animation. The producer and director wanted a final sound mix in order to pitch the project to various festivals and producers in a professional manner that would enhance the story to its fullest potential. The final animatic was released in the summer of 2022 and may make its way into an animated series. I received an honorable mention for Best Sound Design by the LA International Indie Short Fest in June 2022!

Oren’s Way (2023)

I was officially signed on to be the sound designer and mixer for an animated short called Oren’s Way, a beautiful 2D animation about a princess who must somehow capture a magical golden fox to save her kingdom from ruin and find out the true meaning of happiness. Coming out fall 2023. Stay tuned!

Odd Dog Series (2021-)

In 2021, I began working for the awesome people over at Greyscale Animation and completed sound designing and mixing a short called Odd Dog - Madame Corgi: the second episode of part of the Odd Dog series. You can check out the first one here. Stay tuned for more episodes.

Juke Box Hero (2o19)

In 2019, I was signed on as a dialogue, SFX, and music editor for Juke Box Hero, a visceral and psychological '80s full-feature drama set in Los Angeles. Juke Box Hero portrays Kiva Jade, an alluring and brazen musician driven to become a multi-platinum superstar in the counter-culture world of rock n’ roll. Plagued by the trauma of her past, she must face her deepest fears amidst a conflicting love in this #metoo movement film.

Seanna’s Ocean Buddies (2018)

The lovely people over at Sesame Studios asked me to work as the sound designer and sound recordist for the SFX of this fun short by Sesame Workshop - developed by the creators of Sesame Street. A Foley-intensive project with rubber duckies involved; most of those splashes and underwater sounds one hears were recorded in my bathtub!

Bella Ciao! (2018)

Debuting my first full feature endeavor, I completed dialogue editing, noise reduction, and background clean-up work for an 89-minute drama feature, Bella Ciao! The film revolves around the intersectionality of Italian, First Nation, and Latin communities in Vancouver, British Columbia. The story follows the strained relationship of Constanza and her daughter, weaving in the struggles of our modern times with the haunted history of a mother escaping Pinochet’s Chile. Through old connections and new, she navigates through urban Vancouver, forging new culture and connections from past revolutions and bitter trauma.

Cohibernation (2o17)

Diving into documentary post-sound editing, I worked on dialogue and music editing for a documentary named Cohibernation about long-term gay male couples in the bear community. The film explores the struggles, post-AIDS trials, tribulations, and deep bonds of love of 7 couples long identified in the community who have been in relationships for over 10 years.

Monster Music Factory (2016)

In my very first professional project after school, I was asked to mix VO and SFX for five short, silly, and educational videos for the Hispanic International Television Network (HITN), teaching ESL Latinx children arithmetic, counting, and basic math skills in a fun and energetic way. The five 1-2 minute shorts aired to over 40 million households throughout the United States and Puerto Rico for a week. The episodes were also featured at Columbia University Teacher’s College.
